Elkhorn Smokehouse is a Montana based, family-owned company specializing in seasoning mixes for your home and grill. Our venison jerky and smoked sausage seasonings are perfect for hunters. Our fresh sausage seasonings, barbeque rub, chicken rub, and salmon seasoning are great for anyone who wants high quality flavorful meats for their table.

It all began with a quest to make venison jerky and sausage at home. After years of trial and error, friends and family raved about the treats we were producing and encouraged us to take the next step. After fifteen years of testing we think we have crafted some of the best jerky and sausage seasoning mixes on the market. This labor of love has produced 14 different flavors of jerky, fresh, and smoked sausage seasonings, plus a barbeque rub, chicken, and salmon seasonings with a few more seasonings in development. In 2021, we added a food trailer to produce some tasty barbeque at local event in NW Montana.

We make seasoning mixes just like you would at home, one ingredient at a time. We choose the best ingredients we can find, measure them one at a time and add them to the packaging. Each bag is then double checked to ensure everything is right, every time. Because of this process, you can be assured that you are receiving the highest quality product possible. We then seal the bag twice to ensure your seasonings stay fresh until you are ready to use them. 

From a first time sausage maker to a seasoned veteran, you are never alone in the process. The directions for each seasoning is right up front on the label. These directions are the same time-tested methods that we've been using for years to create delicious sausages and jerkies time after time, every time.
